knitting and felting, It's a kind of magic

It's a kind of magic really, 

Just a bag full of soft yarn and two needles, such excitement! All  those colours to play with and then countless little knots later Tah Dah!!  A piece of fabric.

In this case the piece of fabric is bag shaped.

Yes really, it is bag shaped! look you can see two handles.

and there you can see the base of the bag and the frill too!

 Next is the alchemy

Into the  washing machine goes all my hard work and a hot wash later it's shrunk into felt.

And yes it truly is bag shaped, I thought it would be, after all I did write the pattern

It takes me such along time to convert my scribbley scrawly notes into a proper pattern. However I find it so wonderful that folk want to re-create my designs that I'm soon knitting and designing my next project.
